7-8PM: Comics are invited to workshop with other comics

8-10PM: Open mic begins. Each comic who is brave enough to get up there and perform, in turn has to sit in the hot seat after their set. 

Cam & CJ roast them, and ask questions the audience has written down, turning the topics into jokes.

 is an American songwriter, musician and artist. Ramone rose to prominence as the guitarist and vocalist of indie rock band Vivian Girls, who formed in 2007 and achieved international success with the release of their debut album Vivian Girls in 2008. She also formed the band project The Babies with Kevin Morby (of Woods). During The Babies' hiatus, Ramone embarked on a solo career, releasing her debut album The Time Has Come in August 2014.

is the indie-pop scene’s annoying little sister. Hailing from Nashville, they create playful and sharp music about love (or the lack of it), mommy issues, and the perils of growing up. Its core members are Ceci Tomé and Brenna Kassis, two best friends whose love for each other informs every musical step they take. Their sound is nostalgically influenced by the early 2000s music of their childhood. Venus & the Flytraps recently independently released their new EP, Venus in Love.

SISTER WIFE SEX STRIKE - Sister Wife Sex Strike is a Seattle-based anarchist folk punk band comprised of Sister Pigeon and Sister Moth. The band's name is inspired by a real life sex strike that they went on in 2021. The two have been playing music and writing songs together ever since.

CLOVER-LYNN & the HELLFIRES - Clover-Lynn, also known as hillbillygothic, is an American bluegrass and gothic country musician and TikToker. She is the banjoist of the band Clover-Lynn and The Hellfires.

Clover-Lynn grew up listening to country and bluegrass music, citing The Stanley Brothers, Flatt and Scruggs, and Rhiannon Giddens as early influences. She is the lead of the band Clover-Lynn and the Hellfires, formerly called the Laurel Hells Ramblers.

- Multi-instrumentalist, producer, and vocalist, Astoria sculpts sonics with both organic and synthetic sounds, birthing experimental pieces that bridge genres. The Asheville based artist explores trip hop, soul, sky wave, hip hop, pop, folk and ambient, and the project is always evolving to reflect new influences. Astoria has a voice and lyricism that evoke ethereal, colorful, and mystical worlds, while gracefully shifting into phonetic flows that have blunt, earthy, and soulful qualities as well. Their exploration of sonic arrangements creates distinct and enticing atmospheres, ranging from bright and vibrant to dark and bewitching. 

 - Cold Choir is Franky and Rio Martinez, an Electro-Darkwave duo. Their sound is rooted im post punk realm with a dose of EBM, Dark Techno, and 80s Electro. With two EPs and a remix album, Rio is a visual artist who plays the keyboard/synths and Franky is the writer and vocalist. Each track will make you dance with reckless abandon.

We then focused our campaign on the Canadian theater shortly afterwards on a split with Quebecois legends Complot!. After a weekend run with Bog Body in 2019, we also decided to release a torrent of audial torment with them also on Stygian Black Hand. Using a two-handed arsenal of electric piano, Omnichord, samplers, effect pedals & drum machines, Ashworth builds minimalist, heavy-hearted, & nostalgia-obsessed ballads around his conversational baritone. The warm, electronic sound of Advance Base has been described as "lo-fi," "depressed" & "weirdly uplifting."

 - So much of Moontype’s life-affirming magic is from the evolving confidence and relentless creative playfulness of its lead singer and bassist Margaret McCarthy. As the leader of the Chicago indie rock outfit, her music tackles soft and vulnerable emotions with striking clarity and immersive, unorthodox melodies. Their second album, I Let The Wind Push Down On Me, serves as a reinvention for the band—not just for their new and expanded lineup—but for how McCarthy navigates the changes in her own life and the messy feelings she sings about. Melanie Ida Chopko is an internationally touring artist living in Asheville, NC. Her latest album, Never Had a Love Like This, is a dispatch from the interior of modern adulthood—a sweeping indie folk record shaped by pandemic-era dating and tech-fractured intimacy. Across these ten tracks, Chopko charts a return to the body, to human connection, and to the natural world.At once delicate, funny, and boldly roaring, the album offers a deeply personal response to some of our most pressing collective questions: living admist the loneliness of modern life and a destabilized climate.

Juan Holladay has been singing, writing songs, and playing in bands since he was twelve years old. In 2006, he relocated from Tucson to Asheville and formed an alternative R&B band called the Secret B-Sides. Since then, he has come into a more lo-fi, down-tempo, sample-based sound with the release of solo material and video content. The nature of Juan’s art is candid and personal, reflecting heavy collaboration with Asheville’s creative community.

Madelyn Ilana is a singer-songwriter, violinist, healing artist, and community leader based in Asheville, NC. Her music lives at the intersection of dream-folk, art-pop, sacred sound, and poetic storytelling. Weaving original songs, improvised violin soundscapes, and spoken word, she creates performances that are both emotionally raw and soulfully spacious—inviting presence, reflection, and transformation.
