Author and musician Nic Brown presents his newest book, Violent Femmes, the latest in Bloomsbury's 33 1/3 series - about the iconoclastic album from the alternative '80s that altered the course of popular music.

Featuring music and conversation from producer and guitarist Shannon Ferguson, of New York City's celebrated indie rock band Longwave, and Asheville author Tessa Fontaine.

Doors open at 4:30pm, come early to grab a beverage and browse some records before the event! The book talk starts at 5:30pm, with a signing to follow.
