Tyler Ladd, Molly Robinson, John Gernandt Voice of the Sidhe featuring Yssabel Gernandt, traditional and original songs and other sounds.

Yssabel Gernandt grew up listening to her dad John Gernandt Voice of the Sidhe singing old traditional ballads. He has been collecting traditional ballads and writing original work since the late 1970's. The elder Gernandt has been active in the Asheville area arts and music scene since the 1980's.

While still in elementary school Yssabel and her dad started the band Hope Huntington, eventually earning her a reputation for her hurdy gurdy playing, It was during that time around 10 years ago they teamed up with Tyler Ladd. Even though the band no longer performs together they have continued to be performing individually at events hosted by Tyler Ladd and John Gernandt, as well as other events.

Molly Robinson has been developing an interest in singing since meeting the Gernandt's.The 4 are coming together to present an evening of very diverse sounds, ranging from very traditional,to avant garde and psychedelic.

The event is March 21 at Static Age Records on historic North Lexington Ave downtown Asheville.
