Pageninetynine
Started in 1997, Pageninetynine is a band from Virginia who redefined what "punk rock" could mean and be, touring relentlessly and releasing a plethora of albums, splits, singles and more... all from a venerable squad of miscreants on the outskirts of the nation's capital. With a plethora of releases only rivaled by their staggering eight member status, Pg.99 managed to amalgamate almost every heavy-music genre into a tornado of punk rock fury. Not punk in a mohawk-mania sense, but with the unbridled raw spirit of youthful rebellion and passion.
Massa Nera
Massa Nera is a band from New Jersey. Formed in 2016, they have worked obsessively to refine their idiosyncratic vision of screamo and introspective hardcore with the aim of creating their own sonic world. They recently released a collaborative album with Quiet Fear, entitled “Quatro Vientos // Cinco Soles” which was released on Persistent Vision Records in January 2024. Previous releases include their acclaimed 2022 album “Deramar | Querer | Borrar” and an appearance on the Secret Voice “Balladeers, Redefined” compilation.
Private Hell
A hardcore punk/metal band from Richmond, influenced by bands like Integrity, Tragedy, Sepultura, 80s COC, Anti Cimex, etc.
Serrate
A quartet that mine influence from the sonic worlds of skramz/screamo and hardcore, resulting in a sound that blends viciousness with melody.
