Wes Parker is a Richmond, Virginia–based musician and comedian whose work blurs the line between raw vulnerability and sharp, self-aware humor. A former member of indie rock outfit Camp Howard, Parker first broke out with his viral comedy persona Skunk, a crust-punk character that won him national attention online.

Now stepping into his solo music career, he channels the grit of his past addiction, heartbreak, and the scrappy tour life, into songs that balance sincerity with self-deprecation. His debut EP Splinter draws on the sounds of ‘90s rock, folk, and country, earning comparisons to early Muse, Radiohead, and Jeff Buckley while exploring personal struggles, relationships, and the tension between fear and fascination. (He admits his biggest obsession is tornados, “no better way to go than in a twister’s path.”).

Whether through music or comedy, Parker captivates with a distinctive voice, disarming honesty, and the kind of storytelling that lingers long after the laughter fades.

HOOK OF MOON - Hook of Moon is an Asheville based music project by Aidan Thomann. Focusing on blending electronics, samples, and left field instrumentation with traditional pop song structure, Hook of Moon creates a dreamy sound that lands somewhere between the familiar and unfamiliar.
